History

CAN/AM Hockey launched its first summer hockey program in 1969. Throughout the 70's, CAN/AM continued to run programs, becoming the leader in youth and adult hockey training camps. In the early 80's, CAN/AM offered a full service, package tournament for adult recreational hockey teams. The format was a success. CAN/AM soon expanded the package tournament to the youth market. The first youth event started with 12 teams during one weekend in Lake Placid, NY. Over the next 20 plus years, the tournaments expanded to provide annually over 850 youth teams with their 30,000+ players, parents, and family members the greatest tournament experience in all of hockey.

We would like to take the time to thank all of the hockey players and fans who have joined the CAN/AM family throughout our history. Nothing means more to us than our customers. Nothing brings us more pride than seeing so many of them join us year after year at camps and tournaments, or having former campers and players now sending their own children to CAN/AM.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple - create the most memorable experiences that any hockey player can enjoy and infuse our camps and tournaments with our passion for hockey. We want the name CAN/AM to represent the gold standard for youth and adult hockey camps and tournaments. Our goal is to make sure that no other hockey event company can match the high level of customer service and attention to detail that you will find at CAN/AM Hockey Camps and Tournaments.
